A LITTLE ABOUT OUR FINE ART PRINTS
In addition to our digital packages, we proudly offer stunning printed packages. We refer to our prints as stunning because they truly are the highest quality prints money can buy.
Our prints are printed in our studio on a professional 12 colour gamut printer which produces Giclée fine art prints, using archival quality cotton rag papers. Our printer contains 12 ink cartridges, as compared to the standard number of 6 or 9 cartridges. With more colours for the printer to select from this means your printed images will retain all clarity and vibrancy, and stand out with crystal clear colours and dynamics, all of which reflects the love and care given during the retouch process.
There will never be any unattractive colour casts on your photographs which are often the result of lower quality printers.
WHY DO WE CHOOSE FINE ART COTTON RAG PAPERS?
1. Increase in quality
Fine Art papers are made from higher quality materials and have greater UV properties than resin coated ones. Usually made from Cotton Rag or Alpha Cellulose, these are natural materials that resist fading and absorb ink beautifully, which look and feel vastly more professional.
2. Archival stability
If you want your prints to last, then you will want to choose paper that has a museum grade archival rating. The materials used are acid-free and OBA (Optical Brightening Agents) free, which extends the period of time it takes for the paper to break down and yellow, ensuring your prints will be around for decades.
3. Emotional value
The experience of looking at a printed photograph is a very tactile one, engaging the viewer in a completely different way to a digital image. The use of a good quality Fine Art media, particularly a textured one, can add depth and give the print more life.
